Cannon's book was instrumental in laying the groundwork for what would be termed the "MILAB" or "military abduction" theory of alien abductions, which supposes that most of the accounts of being taken aboard alien craft and experimented on are really drug-induced hallucinated memories of military/intelligence experimentation on American citizens. Quite scarce and poorly held institutionally.
