Añadir al carritoPrinted handbill, 6 ½ x 6 inches, 2-line headline in bold all capitals, followed by 11 lines of text for the recipe [short version:], using a mixture of linseed oil, beeswax, and terpentine [sic], melted together over a fire, rubbed as it boils over boots or shoes, the process repeated four or five times, ready for wear after th…oroughly drying. A second recipe ("proved by a respectable gentleman of New Kent County") appears below the main text "A Certain cure for the Poll Evil," [four lines in very small print} suggesting the use of live frogs to be rubbed on the Horse's inflamed bursa. Not in either Hummel. Not located on OCLC. Thoroughly browned, a little wear around the edges, but very good.
