These cards were part of the Mecca & Hassan Champion Athlete and Prize Fighter collection, and also under the brand, Tolstoi Cigarettes. Featured are celebrated Black prize fighters Peter Jackson, Jack Johnson [with gloves] and Jack Johnson without gloves [two of the same image; one issued under Mecca and the other under Hassan on verso] Joe Jeanette, Sam Langford [two of the same image; one issued under Mecca and the other under Hassan on verso], George Dixon [as Tolstoi on verso], and two separate depictions of Joe Gans [one with a duplicate; issued as Mecca and Hassan respectively on verso]. All cards have brilliant coloring and are very good to near fine.
