Full red leather with color illustrations mounted on the front covers, gilt lettering and decoration, all edges gilt, chalice decorated endpapers in red, black and gold, numerous color illustrations throughout, text printed in black and red, attached red bookmarks. The box is gilt with a red top cover and label. The books are in very good condition with minimal wear, firm bindings, minor shallow vertical crease to the spine of the first volume, clean pages, presentation pages at front filled in neatly with a family's name and dated December 25, 1955, no other markings. The box is in very good condition with a scuff to one upper corner, otherwise only light edge rubbing. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good Box. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
