First Edition. 30.5 cm, [23] pp, art illus - some colour, illus papered boards - tiny surface nick from price sticker removal. Small name and address inside front cover - neatly. VG copy. This is lighter in weight than the average allowed for at the checkout and there will be a freight rebate made at the checkout.

Hardcover quarto (VG-) lacks prelims ; all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Ordering more than one book keeps postage costs down.

Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Date. No title page (as issued), so no particulars of publisher and date (1940s). Marcie Muir's bibliography mentions the same omission. Colour pictorial boards, small section peeled on lower front, corners slightly bumped, red cloth spine, illustrated in colour & mono (signed J.E. - JEAN ELDER?), paper covering at endpapers a little split, vg+. folio, (25pp). A lovely book, clearly a contemporary of the Peg Maltby picture books.

Not in Muir Vol. 1 or Vol. 2. Unsure if this book was produced without a title page. All publishing details obtained from the State Library of Victoria. This piece of Australian Juvenilia combines fairies with native Australian animals and flora. Bright colourful full page illustrations. Binding is loose. Edges a little frayed, otherwise a very nice example of Australian Children's Literature. Scans available.
