Very good album with some creasing and edgwear with very good photographs with some fading and rubbing. A photo album kept by a young man who was involved with the Boy Scouts in the Wisconsin area in 1922. The photos depict the young man and his friends during a camping trip at Mantua Camp on East Twin Lake, participating in "Saturday Bird Club," camping on the Cuyahoga River, and auto camping near Toronto. Boys are seen posed by their tents, goofing off, and in group photos. Some of the photos have captioned including place names and some humorous tongue in cheek lines such as "divided we fall." Later in the album they go on a road trip and camp along the way visiting Michigan, Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Lake Erie. These photos show the men posed by their car, the landscape of their camping trips, and the falls and waterways they visited on the way. During this trip they set up their tent using the car as one side of the shelter. A nice collection of camping photographs featuring young men with ties to the Boy Scouts.
