The Tan binding is bright and clean with a drawing of the bounty in blue in a circle, the title is in blue with all three Bounty story's there. The corners a lightly bumped and the front edge has very small bit of linen unwoven, the fore edge is rough cut. The endpapers are aged with the route of the Bounty in blue, both front and back papers; the interior is a bit age yellowed, but very clean. The colored frontispiece is of the H.M.S. Bounty, there are 8 wonderful N.C. Wyeth Illustrations throughout the book. The Dust Jacket has and illustration of the Bounty and the title in blue, on the front and spine with other titles by the authors on the back of jacket, there are some minor tears and chip, unclipped, but no price.

The Text Block is clean, soft white, tight, straight and square with deckled fore-edges and no markings of any kind. The Binding is full beige cloth, and a lighter beige to the spine, colors uniform throughout, with a nautical design to the front board, title and design in black to the spine, unmarked map endpapers (Route of the Bounty Launch in front, Route of the Bounty in the rear), and all corners square and sharp. The Bounty novels were originally written in the early1930s, and The Bounty Trilogy first appeared in 1936. This edition contains a preface by the authors written in 1940, and eight (8) color illustrations by N. C. Wyeth. This edition was also probably timed to come out with the film of the same name in 1962 starring Marlon Brando, Trevor Howard, and Richard Harris.
