Añadir al carritono binding. Condición: very good. The 1863 wood engraving features the Baltimore Battle Monument, a significant historical site situated near City Hall on Calvert Street. This monument serves as a poignant tribute to the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Battle of North Point, valiantly defending Baltimore during the War of 1812. The portrait image area measures 7 X 5 inches, while the overall size, inclusive of margins, is approximately 9 3/4 X 6 1/4 inches. Although there is slight text bleeding from the opposite side, the print is predominantly in Very Good to Excellent Condition. The image area radiates clarity, presenting intricate details in Excellent Condition. Printed on standard paper, the reverse side bears text. This exquisite print would make a splendid addition when matted and framed, and art supply stores offer a diverse selection of frames for showcasing such cherished art treasures. NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU PURCHASE: This is a GENUINE ANTIQUE VINTAGE PRINT. It is NOT a modern reproduction, ie. a laser scan, photocopy etc. It is the original from the antique or vintage atlas or book publication. This print was published on the date mentioned, or circa of the date mentioned at the top of the page. The print I have for sale, like many antique vintage prints and maps that you see online, originate from an antique vintage book or atlas publication. The publication may not always be known. If you have any questions, emails are welcome.

Añadir al carritono binding. Condición: very good. The Battle Monument in Baltimore stands as a proud symbol of the city's resilience and historical significance. Erected in the early 19th century, the monument commemorates the defenders who courageously repelled the British invasion during the War of 1812. Notably, the Battle of Baltimore, immortalized in the national anthem "The Star-Spangled Banner," saw Fort McHenry successfully withstand British bombardment. The Battle Monument, a prominent Doric column topped with a statue of Lady Baltimore holding a laurel wreath and a scroll, serves as a testament to the city's indomitable spirit. Located in the heart of downtown Baltimore, the monument remains a revered landmark, reminding visitors and residents alike of the city's rich history and the valor displayed by its inhabitants during a pivotal moment in American history. 1830s Steel Engraving - Lovely Antique Print .
