A novelty card with the face of a young man mounted on the caricature body of a banjo player. Real photo postcards came about when Kodak manufactured a camera for amateurs that allowed the photographer to make larger size images that could be printed on a "post card" back card. As these were usually only printed in very small numbers and usually non-professionally they are generally considered amongst the most desirable forms of post card and are highly collectible.
