The purpose of this books was to present the whole story of atomic energy in a readable and understandable style. The first half of the book is a history of the events that led up to the Curies' discovery of radioactivity. The second half is a progress report on how isotopes are being used today to make a better and more helpful world. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket. George R. Cox (ilustrador).
