Undated stapled wraps promotional booklet for the "Apache Beadwork Loom," has bumps with creasing to the spine ends and corners, splitting starting to the spine fold at the tail with a tiny tear at the head, cross creasing along the spine, rubbing with smudging to the covers, and pencil marks to the front. Overall, this is a solid, Good+ copy with clean pages.

First edition of this uncommon sales catalogue on Apache Indian beadwork, with instructions on how to use Isaac Allen's Apache Beadwork loom in decorating tassels, card cases, purses, chatelaines, wrist bags, and more with beadwork. These were not only marketed through mail order, but the beads, looms, and instruction catalogues such as these, and even finished products, were also available to visitors at Indian Trading Posts in the New Mexico, Arizona, & Oklahoma Apache and Navajo reservations.

Poor condition, off-white covers with red lettering and photo of ?native American girl to front cover and bead bag to back cover. Covers are soiled and rubbed with edge creases and small chips and tears. Spine mended with sticky tape. Inside cover also mended with sticky tape, as are two other openings. The book has 40 pages, all present, and is stapled with the staples rusted. Thumbing to pages, and one very minor tear to each page. Black and white diagrams of various beadwork designs including purses, wrist bags, collars and chains. With many different motifs. Includes directions on how to use the Apache Beadwork Loom, and b/w photos of finished articles and also of 'Home of the original beadworker'.
