Anton herds the goats every day to the mountains and back. On this day, a rainstorm comes up and he is missing 3 goats. His determined search for them shows his courage and commitment to their welfare. The story has drama as it unfolds, and many details for children to note. Anton rescues the lost sheep and returns the herd safely home, ignoring his injured ankle. Safe in his cozy bed that night, he dreams that all the animals are in his room. The artwork is memorable and makes the book. Digital or scanned images are available upon request. One owner who was a collector of children's books. kept behind glass in a conditioned space.
