Includes suggested menus, recipes, and exercises. Based on dates mentioned in the text, we conclude that this was published in 1905 or later. Edition De Luxe. Bound in full cream paper with lettering on green background on front cover. Printed by Randall Printing Co. of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Illustrated with photos of a man and woman in various exercise poses. 7.25 x 5.25 inches; [4], 32, [4] pages (printed on double leaves). Moderate staining and soiling to the covers, front hinge starting, a loose gathering, and a tear on page 22 not affecting the text. Good only. Much of the advice in this book still holds true today (e.g. get eight house of sleep), while other nuggets of wisdom have not stood the test of time (e.g. take nude "air baths", exposing the entire surface of the skin to cool air).
