Soft cover. Condición: New. This book gathers testimonies from all those involved in the recovery of part of the library of the great Paraguayan writer Augusto Roa Bastos (1917-2005). He was exiled from Paraguay to Argentina in 1947 and from Argentina to Spain and France in 1977. Much of his library remained in Buenos Aires until 1997, but then went missing until some garbage bags full of books were found in the southeastern part of the province of Buenos Aires in 2019. They were then brought to Asunción in 2022, and have fascinated readers and scholars since then because of the numerous marginalia, underlining, and inserted pages of all sorts. The recovered library is shedding new light on the composition of Roa's great novel Yo el Supremo (1974).…
