Good readable/working copy.; "The present publication is primarily concerned with Kendi-type vessels which are found in the Museum's Chinese and S.E. Asian Collections. A number of references in text and illustration call attention to specimens in the former University of Singapore Collection which is also housed in the National Museum. This publication represents a fruitful collaboration involving Museum staff and volunteer researchers from the Friends of the National Museum. We are indebted to Natalie V. Robinson and Nancy Kidney for undertaking the time-consuming cataloguing of our ceramic and metalwork kendis, and also for writing the informative paper "Perspective on Kendis in the National Museum" to supplement the Introduction.
