What is definitive communication? Creators from around the world responded to these queries posed by Evolution Graphics. The book amassed 2,566 samples of work from around the world, from countries as far afield as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, America, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Holland and the Soviet Union. In particular a large volume of New Wave Typography works were submitted from Britain and Holland. In undertaking the selection editing for this book we have attempted to faithfully and attractively portray the furious whirlpool of the world's typography in 1991.
