This can be facilitated by the introduction of BRT. In this study a design proposal is made for the blue route; proposed in the Strategic Transport Plan for the city. Then the financial feasibility was analyzed using some popular tools like, break even analysis, benefit cost ratio, net present value, internal rate of return. From the analysis it was found that implementing BRT will be beneficial financially. So, to solve the transportation problems of Dhaka, BRT will be a very good choice. 124 pp. Englisch.
