The concept to work on histological changes on human gallbladder was proposed by my supervisor Dr Karuna H. Katti first by the way of applying immunohistochemistry method. She and myself dually planned to do routine histochemistry, mucin histochemistry and lipid histochemistry by using H&E stain, combined PAS-AB stain and Sudan Black B stain and had planned to prepare 3 slides from each total 9 slides for each sample which includes the work of routine histochemistry, mucin histochemistry and lipid histochemistry. Dr Karuna H. Katti, Late Dr M N Mahendrakar, Dr K N Geetha collaboratively planned and advised me to procure samples from Dept. of Pathology M.G.M. Medical College and provide me an issue letter. The concept of this book is to observe histological changes in the wall of human gallbladder after stone formation and what are the histological alteration.
