This is volume two of the Niagara Story Series which began as a weekly series in the St Catharines Standard, the Niagara Falls Review, and the Welland Tribune under the title Pioneer Days.  This particular volume is concerned with the events of the War of 1812 in the Niagara region and alternates between historical discussions and fictional accounts of the people and events.  As the author writes in the preface the book, ".is an attempt to bring the experiences of the participants to life in a series of snapshots of the events surrounding the conflict." This volume is in Near Fine condition and includes black and white illustrations by George Balbar.
