Shoot for the stars & enjoy the ride. Stan. 2002". Illustrated with b&w photographs. Introduction by Col Davies. "Stan Alves took the embattled Saints to their first grand final appearance in 26 years. The following year his sacking stunned the Australian sporting public and, since then, the Saints have struggled to win. Understandably devastated, Stan let go of intense feelings of anger and bitterness, and turned adversity into triumph. Today, he is one of the most sought after motivational speakers in the country and his story has much to offer, helping us all to find deeper meaning and purpose in our daily lives. It only takes one idea to make a difference. If Sacked Coach can provide inspiration and courage to others, then the effort in telling this story has been well worthwhile." Printed in Australia.
