The Inner Hebridean Island of Rhum is still an island of mystery to many people, perhaps because the memory still lingers of former landed gentry who discouraged visitors by every means possible. It is an island which delightfully combines interest for both climber and naturalist. The Nature Conservancy Council bought the island in 1957 and now manages it as a National Nature Reserve. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
