This book takes aim at the fabricated ecclesiastical genealogies concocted to prove the supposed unbroken line of succession from Christ's apostles to the present day. The author contrasts these genealogies with the genealogies of the Old Testament and shows how the latter are preserved authentic and accessible to all, while the former is obscure, complex, and ultimately defective. The author argues that the theory of apostolic succession is flawed, as the true spiritual lineage must be found through communion with Jesus Christ, not through human inheritance. Through a rigorous comparison with the true genealogies preserved by the Jews, the author exposes the fabulous nature of ecclesiastical genealogies and ultimately challenges their use as a basis for clerical authority.
