Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book examines female criminality in the early twentieth century. The author makes use of mental tests to study the relationship between criminal behavior and mental capacity in women. By comparing the results of these tests with those of law-abiding women, the author gained insight into the mental characteristics associated with criminal behavior. This study contributed to the understanding of female criminality in a period when few resources existed for the rehabilitation and support of women who committed crimes. It also advanced the use of psychological testing in the study of criminal behavior and highlighted the importance of recognizing the mental characteristics that can contribute to criminal behavior.
