Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book contains a series of sermons that seek to honor the author's 40th anniversary as a pastor of a church in New Jersey. The sermons center around the themes of a pastor longing for the salvation of his people and reflections on the history of the church and the experiences of its members. The book is placed within the greater historical context of the founding of the church, the establishment of Dutch churches in the United States, and the revivals that gave birth to many churches in the region. The author also includes an appendix with background information on the Raritan Church and other Dutch churches with which it has historical ties. These sermons and the historical appendix provide a rich insight into the author's faith, as well as the experiences and beliefs of a religious community over the course of several decades. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
