Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book remembers the childhood of Winifred Vida, a spirited and imaginative young girl. The author, Winifredâs father, draws on his own memories, as well as contributions from his family and Winifredâs school friends, to paint a vivid picture of a child who loved her world with an infectious passion. Through their accounts, readers will get to know Winifredâs thoughts, hopes and dreams, and understand her perspective on events such as starting school and family life. They will also gain an insight into the authorâs own feelings as he watched his daughter grow from a young child into an independent thinker, and how he came to terms with her untimely death. The bookâs focus on Winifredâs childhood offers a nostalgic look back at a time of innocence and joy.
