He currently lives in New York. About the illustrator: (from the dust jacket) Laura Lee Cundiff started drawing when she was two, and eventually began to earn a living from it. She was born in Kentucky, and recently, after seven years in New York City, has returned to live in a stone cabin on a horse farm. She has illustrated for several magazines, including the Daily News Sunday Magazine and the Village Voice; and also, in a pinch, has designed Mickey Mouse pajamas.
