Some of the tools you'll require are : log dogs, peeling spud, broad axe, and log scriber. Text assisted by plenty of b/w (`how-to') diagrams. Also b/w photos and even a colour shot or two of finished projects. Page 55 talks about `piece-en-piece'. Author offers a `building with logs' school. Condition: Paper wrapper is green and gold - think: real logs. Lettering is black. Cover inset is not attributed but seems to be a completed Mackie project. Spine fine , colours bright. Tiniest of wear points. No names ,marks, creases, nor tears. Excellent copy. Almost giftable ! Quote (p. 50) : " This is not to suggest that fibreglass is not a good material. I use it frequently in logwork when it is not possible to obtain moss. And I use it in floor and roof insulation, of course.
