Includes illustrations and photos; also one chapter entitled "Sitting Bull's Account of the Battle" and another containing… a letter from Elizabeth Custer defending her husband's actions; appendices by John Carroll and Brian Pohanka; 104pp. Part of Upton's Echoes of the Little Big Horn Series. O'Keefe #755 and between #419 and #420 in Carroll listings; also Dustin #84 and Dowd #274. Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket in mylar protection. The cyclorama of the battle was on exhibit in Boston beginning in 1889 and possibly lasting through 1991. An original pamphlet sold separately with admission to view the cyclorama. It is very rare due to the low grade of paper used to print the circular overview of the battle. Carroll provides a detailed analysis of the original printing. A must have for Custer students until you find an original!.
