Añadir al carritoHardback. Condición: Very Good Plus. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. First Edition. 1981. First edition. vii, 148pp. Geoffrey Madell (1934-2018) was a Scottish philosopher who specialized in philosophy of mind and the question of personal identity. In this book he argues that the correct view of the nature of personal identity is the one associated with the names of Reid and Butler above all: that personal identity is strict and unanalysable. The book is bound in the original ochre cloth covered boards with titling against a brown background on the spine. The book is in excellent condition and the contents are tight and clean with the following inscription by the author on the front free endpaper: "To Peter, with best wishes, Geoffrey, July 1981" (we believe Peter to be his colleague Peter Lewis). The unclipped dustwrapper is very good with some shelf wear and light soiling. The spine is slightly faded with light bumping to the spine ends. SIGNED COPY.
