Text by Vicki Goldberg and Peter Singer. Pages: 132 Beautifully illustrated with 58 oversized tritone reproductions of Brandt's elegant and elegiac photographs. Small folio, black paper-covered boards, photo-pictorial dust jacket, in a black cloth-covered clamshell box, with debossed title. Deluxe edition, one of 150 signed and numbered copies, this is number 65, issued with one of two photographs, each in an addition of 75. The photograph with this example is Elephant with the tattered ears, Amboseli. Archival pigment print, with Brandt's signature, date and edition notation 9/75, in pencil, 2008. Some marks to the box. The front of the clam shell box was partly faded and has since been re-coloured. The print has a crease down the right hand side, just in from the margin, from slipping in the box when shut and catching in the fold. The book has a good clean dust jacket. Generally very good condition but small dent to bottom back board and crease to bottom edge of back of dust jacket. These issues are reflected in the asking price. The print has now been framed and mounted in a simple black frame and the crease is not visible. I can either send print in the frame, or I can have it removed and put back in the plastic sleeve within the box.
