Easy to follow with plenty of maps and pictures of the battle scenes then and now. It is also a battlefield guide with directions for visitors on how to approach the scenes of the events by car and then on foot through the back lanes and fields. The first person accounts ring true with no sense of false bravado but at the same time, with typical British understatement, very poignant as the deaths of many fine men are recorded. Ref GGG4.
