This 1968 facsimile reprint of the first edition published in 1911 is complete with the original drawings by W. R. Dakin. It has the benefit of a new introduction by L. T. C. Rolt and new photographs. Temple Thurston's book, long out of print is the story of a leisurely voyage in a narrow boat with Eynsham Harry the boatman and fanny the horse, up the Oxford Canal, along the Warwick Line, and down the Stratford upon Avon; then by Avon and Severn to the Thames & Severn Canal and so to the Thames again.
