This book provides a concise account of the Spanish Armada of 1588 and the naval struggle between Spain and England in the late sixteenth century. There are numerous period maps and other illustrations, mostly in colour, including some fine colour profiles of ships, and some good contemporary pen and ink drawings. This is an accessible, well designed book. Ref TFC.
