Examples of his work are in many private collections as well as in fifteen museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, Yale University, the Collection d'Etat in France, and the Jerusalem Museum in Israel. He is a combat veteran of World War II. About the author (from the dust jacket) MERRILL POLLACK. the artist's brother is an editor and a writer. His short stories and articles have been published in such magazines as Holiday and The Saturday Evening Post. He has published three books. two of them for children He, too, is a combat veteran of World War II.
