Paul Brooks, who was Carson s editor, provides rare personal insights into her life and legacy. Very Good in a Fair dust jacket. Text is clean and unmarked. Pastedowns and flyleafs are toned with some foxing. Top and fore edges of the textblock are foxed. Some glossy photo plate pages are foxed along the top edge, as are adjacent pages; some other photo pages show only light foxing. Binding sound, hinges firm. Corners rubbed, lightly bumped and curled inward. Spine ends rubbed and slightly pushed. The dust jacket is notably foxed on the interior, especially along the spine, with numerous edge rips, chips, and rubbing. DJ spine is toned with foxing and some ink loss; $8.95 price intact on front flap. Signed by Author(s).

Very good with some rubbing to corners, the upper rear corner bumped more significantly. In a very good jacket with prominent sunning to spine and top edges, as is common for this title; a thin red streak at top of front panel, also, and one tear about an inch long to both the front and rear top edges.
