Where the book weighs more than 1 Kilo increased charges will be quoted. The Bruneval Raid tells the story of a British raid against a German radar installation on the French coast. The aim was effectively a 'hit and run' effort with the intention of stealing German equipment to see how far advanced German radar was at the time. Additionally there was a desire to get photographs and 'Mk 1 eyeball' intelligence about any equipment they couldn't take with them as well as POW's who might be able to be interrogated about the equipment. Given the importance of air superiority and the ability to counter the air defences of Germany this was a mission of some importance. Ref E5.
