Hinterer Vorsatz mit Vokabeln. - Joseph Rudyard Kipling ['d???z?f '??dj?d 'k?pl??] (* 30. Dezember 1865 in Bombay; 18. Ararat Loge in Lahore. In seinen Erzählungen The Wrong Thing, The Winged Hats und Brother Square Toes verarbeitet er Freimaurergebräuche. Diese Novellen, die im Ersten Weltkrieg spielen, lauten: In the Interest of the Brethren, The Janeits, A Madonna of the Trenches (Eine Erscheinung in den Schützengräben, 1924) und A Friend of the Family. Ebenfalls widmete er mehrere Gedichte der Freimaurerei, darunter The Mother Lodge, The Widow at Windsor, The Press, Banquet Night, Sons of Martha und The Palace. . . . Aus wikipedia-Rudyard_Kipling.
