These inventories provide an intimate look into the objects that held deep spiritual significance for the nuns and lay faithful alike. Through these inventories, the author explores the cult of relics, the rituals surrounding them, and the social and religious context in which they were venerated. The book not only presents a comprehensive overview of the Abbey's sacred collection but also sheds light on the broader medieval fascination with relics.
