Añadir al carritoHardback. Condición: Very Good Plus. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good Plus. First Edition. 1979. First edition. xxxii, 301pp. Although Thomas Hardy was a reticent and private writer, his personal notebooks provide a vivid portrait of Hardy as a writer and as a man, and this is the first full publication of his notebooks. It also contains the original passages that were omitted from Hardy's disguised autobiography, The Life of Thomas Hardy. Although this biography was published in his wife's name, all but the last two chapters were written by Hardy himself. The book is bound in the original blue cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with bumping to the bottom of the spine and the contents are tight and clean with no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper is very good with light shelf wear and slight fading to the spine. The bottom of the spine and bottom front corner are bumped.
