He wrote about his days as an a…spiring writer to the years following the success of "The Stories of John Cheever", as well as his feelings about others' work, his bisexuality and successful battle with alcoholism. Among his correspondents were Saul Bellow, Malcolm Cowley, William Maxwell, John Updike, Robert Penn Warren and Philip Wroth and some of the most important people in his own life. Benjamin Cheever's last novel was "Falconer". The book has been read but remains in clean condition. All pages are intact and the cover is intact. Some minor wear to the spine.
