An extraordinary book, an extraordinary fearless woman, and extraordinary American who was one of the first six women to fly in space. Filled with candor and emotionally charged with preparation for selection as an astronaut to her first launch. Dr. Seddon has the ability to use words to paint a vivid picture of her life riding rockets, falling in love with another extraordinary trailblazing astronaut and being a doctor. Rhea is gifted in so many ways, but the greatest of them all is mother. Her life is one of selflessness and achievement. Every home library should have this book to share with their daughters of what it means to wear the badge of great achiever when you set your goals and apply yourself.
