Softcover. Condición: New. For home gardeners and horticulturists, Watson's Garden Centre is renowned throughout Kapiti and far beyond for the quality and range of its plants. Here is Don Watson's lively story of starting at the nursery as a devil-may-care teenager, eventually buying and nurturing it into the success it is today. There's hunting, fishing, diving and shell-collecting, and that's just before breakfast. There have been hard times too, but Don's humour, energy and down-to-earth attitude have ensured he's still going strong, well into his 80s, with a spring in his step and a twinkle in his eye. --Back cover.
