Graber (1841-1917) a Texas Cavalryman who fought under the famous Benjamin Franklin Terry's famed cavalryman's regiment during the Civil War. Born in Germany, H. W. Graber was six years old when his family moved to the United States and soon afterwards became an orphan when both parents died soon afterwards. Being the oldest he had to care for his brothers and sisters before the war came and held various jobs in Texas. When Texas seceded from the Union, Graber first served as a volunteer under John Salmon "Rip" Ford . He participated; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 454 pages.
