There are many examples here of the other side of Spike, including these four lines: "If a bird in a cage / puts all heaven in a rage / How feels heaven when / dies the billioneth battery hen." Illustrated mostly with full page drawings by Laura Milligan (the author's daughter), with a couple of scratchy drawings by Jack Hobbs and one drawing by Spike himself.
