The correct first edition, this Irish edition issued a year before the UK (Heinemann) edition. 8vo. 144pp. Card wrappers (not issued in casebound format). The wrapper lightly rubbed and chafed, and with single light readership crease to the spine. A very good copy. 'The Snapper' (1990). First edition. 8vo. 216pp. Orange boards lettered in black at the spine. A small scattering of very light spotting to the top- and fore edge, and a touch of light discolouration to the margins of the half-title and one unprinted concluding leaf. A very good copy in virtually fine non-price-clipped dust wrapper. 'The Van' (1991). First edition. This copy signed by the author on the title page. 8vo. 311pp. Blue boards lettered in black at the spine. Backstrip ends gently bruised, tips of two corners lightly bumped, and a little toning to the leaf margins as is invariably the case. Very good in price-clipped dust wrapper, with a small area of fading to the spine panel and a little ear to the spine panel ends and corner tips. 'The Guts' (2013). First edition. This copy signed by the author on the title page, with a ticket to the signing event laid-in. 8vo. 328pp. Red boards lettered in gold at the spine. A fine copy in fine non-price-clipped dust wrapper. A super set of the author's Barrytown sequence, considerably enhanced by the presence of the most uncommon Irish edition of his debut, 'The Commitments', and with two of the later volumes signed.
