The book chronicles their extraordinary range of activities. The Drury Lane Arts Lab (1967-60) screened Andy Warhol's over 3 hour long film, 'Chelsea Girls', gave John and Yoko their first joint exhibition. The Robert Street New Arts Lab (1969-71) housed Britain's first video workshop, TVX, the London Filmakers Co-op's first film workshop and a 6-days-a-week cinema dedicated to showing new work by moving-image artists.

There are also in-depth examinations of how the 3-D process was employed for the films KISS ME KATE and Alfred Hitchcock's DIAL M FOR MURDER.
