Anyhoo, should the 250 not be forthcoming here's the details - this book presents the men, the women, the machines and the indomitable spirit of all those drawn into conflict from 1916 to 1945 - and beyond,…told through the story of RAF Biggin Hill, the most famous fighter station in the world. Photos, cartoons, crewmen then, crewmen now, crashes, successes, sadness, celebration. The Bump was a curvature on the Biggin airfield and many pilots felt that this was like coming home, so the book was a request from the RAF top brass who had read about the success of In The Wake of the Hurricane and felt that Bob had the tools and skills to produce a review history of Biggin before the RAF left the drome and all the history was forgotten, hence the title. 160pp & right on 500g for post. Faults? Thumbed/bumped lower right corner. Size: 21cm. Book.
