Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. First Edition (1902-1903). An attractive vintage THREE-VOLUME hardcover set with ALL TEXT IN GERMAN. EACH 8vo volume has decorated sage green/cream marbled side boards half bound in brown glossy leather/corners bound in brown leather, gold embossed design with gilt spine lettering and decoration. No dust jackets as issued. Bit of rubbing in the extremities; possible sunning to the tan spines which are a lighter shade than the leather on the covers. Top edge gilt. Marbled end papers; bound-in green ribbon book mark with a bit of fraying at the end. Very Good contents all have light tanning at the edges. Vol. [I] (1902): XI + [1 +] 375 pp., Frontis + 2 pls with tissues; first 3 pages coming loose at upper portion. Vol. [II] (1903): XIV + [2 +} 383 pp., Frontis + 1 pl with tissues; pages have a slight rippling effect, not too significant.
