Bound by stamped speckled brown leather with… raised bands present to the spine. Gilt titles and leather spine label present to the spine. Boards have light wear present. No ownership marks present. Text is free of marks. Light foxing present throughout the text block. TItle page has a tear present that has been repaired. Binding tight and solid. The volume contains, "Hymen, a new occasional inerlude, as it is perform'd at the Theare Royal in Drury-lane," and which is erroneously said, in the Biographia Dramatica, p. 316, to have never been published. It was written by a person of the name of Allen, in honour of the marriage of the Princess Royal of England to the Prince of Brunswick. E-81; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 196 pages.
