De Pree, U.S. Ambassador to Bangladesh, and dated Dhaka, May 24, 1989. The Ambassador holed that this book would serve as not only as a chronicle of the events surrounding the Summit meeting, but would also serve to boraden understanding in Bandladesh of the American people and the institiions of the United States. This is among the scarcest of items associated with President Ronald Reagan, his summit meetings, and in particular his meetings with Mr. Gorbachev. Inscribed copies are even more limited in their availability. The author was the only Bengallee nuewpaperman amonsts over seven thousand journalists who covered the Summit meeting.
